I'm a self-taught product designer and maker from the Netherlands. The broad field of digital design sparked my interest at the age of 14. That's when I started off designing, building, and selling websites.
After exploring opportunities at companies like Microsoft during uni, I decided to eventually pursue entrepreneurship. I liked creating and have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. It led me to start my own projects and later on businesses that combined my passion for Web and digital product design with my entrepreneurial mindset.
My most recent experience was co-founding a venture-backed startup called Shipright that was accelerated by Techstars. Before Shipright, I co-founded a boutique firm that helped startups and more established companies create digital experiences and products.
I'm obsessed with building products users love (hence Shipright) and it's one of the reasons I co-created and started writing Build With Users. Build With Users is all about software companies that chose to be community-oriented as a way to build with users, instead of for them.
You can find me on Twitter where I sporadically share things on community, product, design, and productivity.
